My studio is in the Ballard area of Seattle. It is located near the Ballard Bridge, just a few short blocks from the downtown area restaurants, shops and pubs. The building was built in the 20s and housed an old dance hall, as well as many other businesses in the growing days of old Ballard. It has lots of character and a vital artist community. There are several artist studios in the other parts of the buildings: painters, printmakers, ceramic artists, creators in textiles, wood working, and bicycle apparel.
I use the space for painting and printmaking, conduct projects and teach private classes. I conduct online classes here, as well as private in-person classes, and with the relaxing of covid restrictions, soon a return to group in person classes, and Open Houses.
