Effect Of Light – Video Download

Filmed on location in Roslyn WA, this 4.5 minute video looks at the different lighting situations that outdoor painters face all the time. Sometimes it's bright, sometimes cloudy, and often somewhere in between. How you show these different types of lighting in your painting, that is, how much light there is that day, depends on how big or small you make the value changes and hue changes in the lit and unlit (shade) areas. Cathe does a short demo of each type, showing and talking about the value and hue differences. Viva la difference!
