Having as much as you want and knowing how to get it is a great plan, especially when you're talking about mixing greens in your landscape painting! There cannot be too many greens. A wide variety of greens in value, hue, and intensity makes a painting exciting and interesting. This 19 minute video shows how to mix many greens in a simple and quick way. By considering pigment choice and thickness of paint and water, mixing from blues and yellows, you will see how to create a multitude of greens: light middle and dark, warm and cool, and bright and grayed greens.
